Alumni 2015 – Evan Tritapoe – Guitarist
New! Hearts for the Arts Alumni Membership
October 1, 2014 Dear Barbara Ingram School for the Arts Alumni, BISFA just started its sixth school year and with five classes graduated, now is a great time to start a BISFA Alumni Group. The point of an organized alumni group is to keep graduates informed of their classmates’ successes, life events, and general news, as well as to communicate to graduates news from their alma mater, schedules of school events and performances, and announcements of alumni-only events and opportunities throughout the year. Over time, the scope and influence of BISFA’s alumni will increase as the graduate numbers increase. One way of becoming a part of your alumni community is to purchase a Barbara Ingram School for the Arts Hearts for the Arts Alumni Membership for only $20 for the year. As a Hearts for the Arts Alumni member you will receive an orchestra seat ticket to the annual Holiday Spectacular and your name will appear as an Alumni Hearts for the Arts member in the All-School Musical program in the spring. In addition, there will be alumni-only social events corresponding with both the Holiday Spectacular and the All-School Musical. Purchasing your Hearts for the Arts Alumni Membership couldn’t be easier, simply visit the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts Foundation Web page, “Alumni News” section. Once on the Alumni News page, click the “Donate Now” button, which will take you to the PayPal account. Input $20 in the “donation amount” box, fill out your information, and you’re done. It’s that easy. Because we’re just getting started, an alumni parent will be in charge of organizing and maintaining a contact database, communicating with alumni, and planning events. However, two alumni are needed from each graduating class to help reach more people, suggest ideas, offer opinions, and pass along any class information. So far, eight alumni have volunteered for the “Class Agent” position. They are: Austin Britner and Sheridan Webb from the class of 2010; Heather Butts and Ashley Warfield from the class of 2012; Selena Kendle and Abigail Martinez from the class of 2013; and Elli Bender and Toby Frevert from the class of 2014 (a giant thank you to these alumni for volunteering already). If you are from the class 2011 and would like to help get your alma mater’s alumni group up and running (or if you know someone who fits this description), please contact Amy Frevert at email@example.com. The BISFA Web site has an alumni section under construction that will have news about individual graduates, school events, alumni events, and more. Please feel free to email individual updates to Amy Frevert at the above address. Please include your name and the year you graduated. Thank you for your time and stay in touch!
Attention Alumni: Please email your current email address to Amy Frevert (firstname.lastname@example.org). Exciting things are in the works for BISFA alumni, but we need to find you first. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you. updates listed below last updated 4/29/2014
