Teaching, learning and fiber arts are my passions. I began my teaching career as a home economics teacher in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and continued as a weaving teacher and summer workshop instructor at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts. I frequently conduct weaving workshops at regional fiber conferences and for fiber guilds. Additionally, I began the Weavers’ Roundtable Guild as an outgrowth of the classes I taught at the WCMFA and continue as program coordinator for its monthly meetings.
I have been a 4-H leader for over 40 years mentoring youth between the ages of 8 and 18.
