Bailey Hovermale is an actor, singer and musician from Smithsburg, Maryland. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Cortland, receiving her BA in musical theatre with a minor in music. Before college, she attended Barbara Ingram School for the Arts (BISFA). She also attended Jeff Whiting’s Open Jar Institute. Some of her favorite roles include Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Belle in A Christmas Carol, Karen Wright in The Children’s Hour, and Ariel in The Little Mermaid.
As an advanced pianist, Bailey has music directed children’s workshop productions, including Frozen, Jr. and Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr. with the BISFA Summer Musical Theatre Intensive. Through the BISFA Foundation, she taught two of their Summer Arts Academies; “Exploring Virtual Theatre: An Acting Workshop” in 2020, and the inaugural “Summer Arts Adventure” camp in 2021.
