The 2026 Bill Dorsey Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts is now open and accepting applications. This fund was established in 2008 by Reverend Janice Dorsey when she was named a People’s Choice Award winner. Reverend Dorsey chose to name the endowment created in her honor for her late husband, Bill.
The scholarship is designed for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts to offset the cost of materials, supplies, and other elements directly related to their arts discipline. Applicants must live in Washington County, MD and be enrolled at BISFA as a sophomore, junior, or senior. Preference is given to students with a concentration in Dance or Vocal Music.
Deadline to apply is Wednesday, November 11th at 11:59pm.
